Dear Parents, Guardians, Carers and Students
It is absolutely wonderful to have our primary students back onsite. It is so good to hear the noise of the playground and the hum of learning in the classrooms. We are really looking forward to having our secondary students return next Monday to complete the school.
Just a few things for next week for secondary students:
PE uniform for secondary students
On a day when a student has a timetabled PE class, they can now wear their PE uniform for the whole day. This will minimise contact time in the change rooms.
Following are the days specific year levels will be in PE uniform which consists of
- plain navy blue shorts/track pants OR plain navy blue or black leggings,
- royal blue PE shirt or new sublimated shirt
- bucket hat
Year 7A & 7B – Tues
Year 7C & 7D - Thurs
Year 8A – Mon
Year 8B - Wed
Year 9A - Tues
Year 9B - Thurs
Year 10A&B – Mon (and a small handful not doing VCE subject again on Wed)
On all other days students must be wearing the school uniform.
Face masks in schools
A face mask that covers the nose and mouth is now the only permitted type of face covering. Face shields, scarves or bandanas do not meet these requirements.
-
All Secondary students are required to wear a face mask at all times, apart from:
-
Eating and drinking
-
PE/Sport - where the teacher has given explicit permission to remove the mask due to the nature of the activity.
-
-
Primary students do not have to wear a mask when in the school grounds
-
If a Primary student is over the age of 12 they will need to wear one to and from school
-
Hats
We are a P-12 sunsmart school which means we all wear hats when outside in Term 4. Please check that you have a school hat ready to go as you come back onsite as you will need one.
Computers
Don't forget to charge your computer for Monday and bring a drink bottle.
Thats all for now.
Have an enjoyable weekend.
Warm regards
