Kai and Jake
Today was overall a pretty exciting day although is wasn’t that packed, but it was very well led thanks to us.
This morning at about 10:30ish we went to the Edo-Tokyo museum to start off our day. The museum was all about the history of Tokyo, although it sounded boring at first, it was really probably one of my favourite museums I’ve been to,(Kai). There were lots of really detailed miniature villages of old Tokyo and lots of cool artefacts all around the three story museum.
After the museum we went to a food and shopping market at Ueno and had about an hour of free time to get lunch and browse the shops.
We then got on a train and caught it to Tokyo Tower, which is the second biggest tower in Tokyo. The Tokyo tower was 330 metres tall. We viewed the city of Tokyo from the observation deck which is 150 meters high. We took a few good pictures from the top. They are Mr. Henstridge’s photos so don’t blame us if they’re bad. There was 2 glass floors that you could look down from the top it was pretty sketchy but fun. When we got back everyone’s legs were really sore from all of the walking we had done today.
