While delivering the academic curriculum and nurturing student wellbeing form the core focus of our education program at Bright P-12 College, we believe that helping students build life skills that prepare them for their journeys outside of school is equally important.
We place a high priority on working with students of all ages to build skills that help them understand themselves, care about others, make responsible decisions, regulate their emotions, communicate effectively, problem-solve, demonstrate leadership, build empathy, work well in teams and handle themselves constructively when challenged.
As many of these skills form the core of our College Guiding Principles, these skills and behaviours are taught to all of our students, and modelled by teachers, during the course of every school day. Furthermore, we offer specific programs that help our students build their life skills including the following:
- Life Education Van P-6
