At Bright P-12 College, we have an active Parents and Friends (P&F) committee, with members representing both the Primary and Secondary. The main function of the committee is to organise events and fundraisers that help provide extra resources or experiences for students—everything from playground upgrades to special programs or celebrations. Beyond fundraising, our P&F committee also acts as a bridge between parents, community and the school, providing a forum for feedback and shared ideas. We have taken an active role in promoting book week activities, co-ordinating both the Mothers Day and Fathers Day stalls, and fundraising through raffles, bake sales and even selling freshly harvested sunflowers. The aim of the Bright P-12 College P&F Committee is to strengthen the sense of belonging within the school and to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where students can thrive. We warmly welcome new members.
