STUDENT LEADERS
Student leadership is highly valued by our College and is fostered through a range of formal and informal strategies. Across the College, we also provide a number of avenues for the development of community service.
In primary and secondary students from Year 6 (Primary) and Year 12 (Secondary) are elected as School Captains each year. Elected representatives from each class also make up the Student Representative Council (SRC). Students also have the opportunity to members of the SRC Executive Committee through an election process.
Our College values community involvement from within as well as promoting College involvement throughout the community we serve. Bright P-12 students currently fill positions on the Alpine Shire Youth Council.
Students are encouraged to contribute to major community events such as the Autumn Festival, Gala Day and the Anzac Day and Remembrance Day ceremonies and to participate in public speaking, summer schools and other extra-curricular programs sponsored by service clubs, universities and industry groups.
