Our Spaces

The Workshop, is an open, naturally lite workspace offering classes in woodwork, metal work, CAD/CAM/Robotics and Product Design and Technology. The Workshop is extremely well-resourced, with a mix of hand tools, power tools and static machines. Classes are offered for years 7 through 12 students, with a well-planned progression from lockstep type projects as an introduction to free choice projects (with some constraints), requiring innovation and creativity.

Workshop highlights include:

Multiple MIG welding bays with light curtains and fume exhaust
3 x 3D printers for CAD/CAM and prototyping
1 x 900mm x 600mm, 100W CO2 Laser Cutter
Dedicated storage areas
Dedicated machining room for material preparation
Workshop assistant who helps prepare materials and supports with practical classes
